About Us
War Is Over is the joint song-writing effort of two long-time best friends: Cameron Young (lead vocals, guitar) and Brycen Waitkus (guitar, banjo, vocals). Drawing inspiration from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Mumford & Sons, Noah Kahan, and Kaleo, the pair began writing in 2016, and released their first few singles while in high school.
Originally from the suburbs of Chicago, the duo moved to Los Angeles in 2021. They are excited about the March 15 release of their debut EP - out now. They hope to start touring soon!
